Buying a machine, running costs, installation, ink and media, service and warranty, ordering and delivery.

The decision before the invoice

Buying a machine

Can I see the machine running before I buy it?
Yes, over a call. No machine leaves on the strength of a specification sheet. Send us a job you actually sell and we run it and walk you through the result before you decide.
Which machine is right for my kind of work?
Tell us what you print and what you charge for it, not the model you think you want. Most buyers leave with the configuration that pays back fastest.
Do you take our old machine in exchange?
Yes, on working solvent printers under eight years old. Valuation happens on site and the amount is set against the new machine.
Do you help arrange finance for the purchase?
Financing terms vary by machine and by buyer, so this is not a one-size answer we can print here. Speak to Sunil Mishra directly, on +91 98380 77501, and he will work through the options with you.
How is the machine delivered, and how long does it take?
Insured road transport, with site power and earthing checked before dispatch. The full run from demo to first print takes roughly three weeks.
Can you show me a machine actually running before I order?
Yes, on a call, for several of the eight configurations. Which model we can show live changes as units come up in our own workshop, so ask when you enquire and we will confirm.
Do I have to commit before you will run my job?
No. Send us the job you print and we will run it and talk you through the result on a call, free, with no obligation to buy.

What it takes to keep it printing

Running costs

How much ink does a machine like the Konica 512i actually use?
About one litre of solvent ink per 1,000 square feet on the 512i C8. We set out the figure that applies to your machine alongside the quotation.
What is the power requirement, and do I need a stabiliser?
The 512i C8 runs on a stable 220 V single phase line with proper earthing. Most workshops run a servo stabiliser. We confirm the exact power draw when we quote.
How long do printheads actually last?
Between fourteen and twenty two months in normal use. Daily capping and weekly flush discipline decides where you land in that range.
What wear parts need replacing regularly?
Dampers, wiper blades, the capping station and the carriage belt wear fastest, and all are held locally in Prayagraj and Varanasi.
Besides ink, what else does the machine consume regularly?
Media: flex roll, vinyl, sunboard or ACP depending on the job, all held in both warehouses. Cleaning fluid for daily head maintenance is the other recurring item.

The day the machine arrives

Installation and training

What are the power and earthing requirements?
A stable 220 V single phase supply with proper earthing, checked before dispatch. We confirm the exact load rating for your configuration when we quote.
How much room does the machine need?
For the Konica 512i C8, a footprint of 4.1 by 1.3 metres with a minimum room of 5 by 3 metres.
What does the one day training cover?
RIP software, colour profiling and daily head cleaning, delivered on site to your own operator on your own machine.
What ships with the machine?
Installation and levelling, one day operator training, the RIP licence and ICC profiles, a starter ink and cleaning kit, and a spare damper and wiper set, the same cover detailed on the Konica 512i C8 page.

Keeping the machine fed

Ink and media

Can we use ink bought from someone else?
Technically yes, but mismatched formulations are the most common reason a head dies early, and third party ink damage is not covered under warranty.
How does the monthly ink and media supply cycle work?
Once we know your usual monthly quantity, a reminder arrives on the same date every month and one reply ships it.
How quickly can an order reach us?
Orders placed before noon ship the same afternoon from whichever of Prayagraj or Varanasi is nearer to you.
How should ink and media be stored?
Away from direct heat and sunlight, at a steady room temperature.
What ink and media grades do you stock?
Flex solvent, digital eco-solvent and UV ink with a white channel, all CMYK in one litre bottles. Flex roll, vinyl, sunboard and ACP on the media side, see the full ink and media range.

When something needs fixing

Service and warranty

What does the one year warranty actually cover?
Twelve months on the machine and six months on the printheads, running from the day of installation.
What happens if the machine stops during a big job?
Phone support the same day. Common failure parts are stocked in both Prayagraj and Varanasi rather than ordered from Delhi.
How fast can an engineer reach us?
Working out of both warehouses puts most of the region's signage belt within a half day's drive.
Are spare parts held locally, or ordered from Delhi?
Held locally. Ordering from Delhi typically takes four to nine days, which is the gap the two depots exist to close.
Are there faults we can fix ourselves before calling?
Roughly a third of the calls we take are solved on the phone in ten minutes: banding, colour shift, media skewing and power faults.
Is extended maintenance cover available after year one?
Yes, on request. Scope depends on the machine, its age and how hard you run it, so it is quoted rather than listed, see what a service visit covers.
What voids the warranty?
Damage from third party ink is the most common cause, along with running the machine without the recommended power stabiliser on an unstable line.

From enquiry to invoice

Ordering and delivery

How do I get a written quotation?
Send us the work you actually sell. Bed width, head count and ink system all move the figure, so we quote against your requirement.
How long does an order take to arrive?
From enquiry to first print is about five steps and roughly three weeks: demo, finance and paperwork, delivery, installation and training, then warranty begins.
How is the machine or the shipment transported?
Insured road transport for machines. Ink and media orders placed before noon go out the same afternoon.
Does it matter whether I order from Prayagraj or Varanasi?
Not for what you can order, only for how fast it arrives. Your order ships from whichever of the two warehouses is nearer to you.
Do you deliver and install outside Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh?
Installation is standard within those three states. Outside that belt, contact us and we will confirm whether delivery and on-site installation are practical for your location.
